PROOFS
Proofs will be ready within 7 – 10 business days of your session. You will receive proofs in both color and black and white. In order to leave the studio with you proofs you must pay $35.00 which will be applied to your order.
General Info:
CLOTHING
- Make sure that your child’s clothing is not wrinkled and fits well
- Clothes that are very busy can be distracting in a photograph
- Large stripes are not a problem but stay away from small stripes
- Clothing in dark or light colors with less pattern are more flattering in beach and outdoor photography
- Be careful with green colors. Most greens clash with the green found in trees and leaves
- Do not dress your child too trendy if you would like your portraits to withstand time.
- Feel free to bring props such as a favorite blanket or stuffed animal. You may also bring sports equipment
GLASSES
It is best if you speak with your optometrist about removing your lenses to avoid glare. Often times they will have empty frames you can use

SESSION
There is a $35 session fee for studio and location photography within a 10 mile radius. This is due at the time of your session and is non-refundable.
(If you would like both studio and on location, it will be an additional $20.00 or a total of $55.

Recommendations
Aquinas College : ( Holmdene Mansion)
Offers a variety of backdrops including ivy, brick, stone, and a pond with stone benches.
Calvin College Campus: This location has a pond with a bridge, a waterfall, a variety of plants and flowers. Shaded areas for great portraits.
Millennium Park: Beach area – Not shaded so it is recommended that photos be taken only in the morning or an hour before sunset. There is a stone wall and a variety of trees and plants
Holland Beach: This area has a great lighthouse. It offers sand dunes, water and dune grass to add interest to your engagement pictures. Best shot an hour before sunset.
Synergy : Water Fall and rocks. Nice place
Other Locations: Let us know in advance which location you would like. If it is within a 15 mile radius of Grand Rapids, there is no extra charge. ( Extra mileage will be charged at $1.00 per mile)
